Eagle Release
This female Bald Eagle sadly ate poisoned horse meat last week. She was ill and unable to fly. She was found and reported to the Odawa Tribe who helped the DNR capture her, heal her, and rehab her via Wings of Wonder.

Moose Around Hatcher Pass Road

Birds
We have a few birds that brave the cold year around. At home, we have Black Capped Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, some kind of sparrow and a flock of Pine Grosbeak that comthrough. I'm still hunting for a good bird book for Alaska.
